How ISS Can Help You

The International Student Support (ISS) team is here to support you with a customized orientation and to help you navigate the requirements of your F-1 student visa status, from initial I-20 issuance to work authorization and beyond.

Over the course of your studies with °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û, ISS will also provide you with programs to optimize your academic, professional, social, personal, and cultural transition to college and the United States.

Students are responsible for maintaining their immigration status, so we encourage you to read through the resources on our website to become familiar with your rights and responsibilities as an F-1 student. New Students

Please note that new students, students transferring in their SEVIS record to °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û, and prior °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û students who are returning to their program after a leave of absence must complete check-in.

To complete your check-in process, you must visit the ISS Office within 10 days of arrival and bring the following documents:

  • USA Visa
  • Passport biographical page
  • Form I-20, signed by you
  • Your I-94
    • If you do not get your I-94 at the border in your passport, .
